Hot potato and smoked salmon

  • 6 /7 large potatoes boiled and sliced
  • 5/6 slices smoked salmon
  • 4oz /110gr white cheddar
  • juice of 1 lemon 
  • 10fl oz cream
  • 50g/2oz  butter
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed
  • salt and black pepper


Grease a large dish with the butter and sprinkle over the garlic. Now place half the sliced potatoes in the dish followed by a layer of smoked salmon. Now place the remaining potatoes on top and drizzle over the lemon juice. Pour over the cream and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Place in a hot oven and cook for approx 30 mins.
