Chicken nuggets

Ingredients

3/4 skinless chicken breasts

4 slices wholemeal bread

1 cup flour

2 eggs

garlic powder

Method

Equipment     

blender, chopping board, knife, baking tray, 3 flat bowls (I use empty takeaway/containers for this), fork

Heat oven to 180 degrees

Blitz bread to make breadcrumbs

Place on baking tray and toast for about 7-10 minutes, turning once

Whisk eggs in bowl

Pour flour into second bowl and mix in 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Place toasted breadcrumbs in third bowl

Chop chicken into strips

Dip each strip first into the seasoned flour, then egg and finally breadcrumbs

Place directly on baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once
