Anne’s Yorkshire Puddings

Ingredients

  • 4 free range eggs
  • 110gr plain floured sifted
  • 220 ml milk
  • Pinch salt

Method

Grease cup cake tins with butter and add 1 tsp oi to each tin

Make the batter by putting the sieved flour in a bowl

Make a well  in the centre and add the beaten eggs followed by the milk and beat lightly with a wooden spoon . Do not overbeat

Leave for approx. 1 hour

Heat the oven to 190c/gas mark 7 and put the oiled cup cake tin into the oven

When the oil is good and hot take out the cup cake tin and pour in the batter.

Place in the oven for approx. 20 mins but do not open the door until the 20 mins are up.

Check they are done and leave n for a few more minutes if needed (at his stage they should be well puffed up and crisp)
