Titanic Tribute Banquet
Relive the grandeur of the Titanic (minus the iceberg!) in the perfect riverside location overlooking Kilkenny Castle. The world’s most luxurious and decadent ship had a menu to match… and the Kilkenny River Court Hotel is proud to bring it to you. Through meticulous research, Gerard Dunne, former Head Chef of the QE2, has developed a fabulous 7 course banquet based on the original last meal served aboard the ill-fated ship on April 14, 1912. Chef Gerard will obtain all of his ingredients from the local markets and food suppliers, and each course will be paired with a different wine to compliment the food.
This exciting event promises to be one of the major highlights of this year’s festival. Dinner bell will be rung at 8pm sharp with just one sitting. Special entertainment will be provided on the night. Smart dress is encouraged to get people into the spirit of the event!
